BRYAN
M. ELZHOLZ, M.D. is a specialist
in interventional pain medicine. He specializes in
painful conditions including neck pain, back pain,
sciatica, musculoskeletal and myofascial pain, reflex
sympathetic dystrophy, occipital headaches, and chronic
abdominal and pelvic pain syndromes.
Dr. Elzholz was born in Forest Hills, NY. He received
his undergraduate degree with a bachelor in science,
majoring in both biology and psychology from the University
of Wisconsin. He received his medical degree from
the Chicago Medical School.
Dr. Elzholz went on to complete his Medicine Internship
at Yale University followed by residency in both Radiology-Nuclear
Medicine, at Cornell University, and Anesthesiology,
at New York University. He then completed his Interventional
Pain Medicine fellowship at the Columbia University-St.
Lukes/Roosevelt Medical Center.
Dr. Elzholz is an expert in both image guided minimally
invasive techniques and medication management. He
performs fluoroscopically guided epidural and transforaminal
steroid injections, spinal cervical and lumbar facet
joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, stellate
ganglion and lumbar sympathetic nerve blocks, trigeminal
nerve blocks, radiofrequency of the spinal cervical
and lumbar facet joints, radiofrequency of the dorsal
root ganglion and peripheral nerves, and discography.
