Puneet Singh, D.O., is a board certified
neurologist, certified by the American
Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, who
specializes in intraoperative neurophysiology.
This is the science of evaluating the integrity
of the nervous system during various
surgical procedures. Structures such as
the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral
nerves are evaluated and tested during any
interventional procedure that may have put
them at risk. Dr. Singh is present in the operating room and communicates directly
with the surgical team during surgery.
Dr. Singh received her undergraduate
and medical degrees in a seven-year
accelerated BS/DO program at the
New York Institute of Technology and
the New York College of Osteopathic
Medicine, Old Westbury, NY. She completed her internship in internal medicine at
Elmhurst Hospital Center, Elmhurst, NY, an affi liate of Mount Sinai Medical Center,
New York, NY. She completed her residency in neurology at St. Vincent’s Hospital,
New York, NY. Dr. Singh completed a two-year fellowship in clinical neurophysiology/
epilepsy/ intraoperative monitoring at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell
Medical Center, New York, NY. Dr. Singh is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American
Academy of Neurology.
